The After School Program will run from
September 9, 2021 through June 10, 2022. Students may attend
Monday-Friday, 3:00-6:00 p.m. Upon arrival, the children will
receive a nutritious snack. For the first hour and a half, they
are required to do homework, assisted by tutors. Homework is
mandatory for participation. A supervised, updated computer lab
and a library are available for both homework and pleasure.
After homework, students may enjoy supervised outdoor recreation
on the playground and indoor games and activities.
The Summer Enrichment and Free Lunch Program
will run from June 20, 2022 through
August 26, 2022, Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30
p.m.
Lunch will be served from 12:30 until 1:00.
A snack will be served at 2:00pm.
According to USDA guidelines, acceptance and
participation requirements for the program and all activities
are the same for all regardless of race, color, national origin,
sex, age, or disability, and there will be no discrimination in
the course of meal service.
Any student ages 7-18 may come for a free lunch
as well as being able to participate in the enrichment program.
We will feed any child under age 7 but they will have to be
accompanied by an adult (parent/guardian) not a sibling or
younger family member - NO exceptions.
Our Summer Enrichment activities will include
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics)
activities designed to be engaging, educational and fun. We
will also incorporate dance, movement, sports, nutrition, and
reading programs open to all participants.
Volunteers are always welcomed to help out with
homework/lunch or just to read or play with the children. Call
Debbie Winn/Office to volunteer at 757-587-2996.
